Women have been shaping computing since its early days. However, today women hold less than 26% of the global tech workforce.

Women Engineers (WE), a 24-month immersive and LIVE online learning experiential program offered by TalentSprint and supported by Google, selects, trains, and nurtures deserving first-year women engineering students to become world-class software engineers. A 100% scholarship that covers the complete program fee along with a rewarding cash scholarship are offered to the selected participants

730+ students, shortlisted from over 78,000 applicants, have been positively impacted by the program in its first 4 cohorts. The program alumni are working with top-tier tech companies.

The next cohort will have 200 seats with 100% fee scholarship that covers the complete program fee, along with a rewarding cash scholarship that will be offered to participants.

Meet the team

  • Asokan Pichai
    Program Dean

    Asokan is a Chief Learning Officer at TalentSprint. He is also an Industry Instructor, Instructional Designer, and Programming Guru, with a solid software development experience of over 35 years. With a PG Diploma in Computer Programming, Asokan is a subject-matter expert in Programming languages - COBOL, Clipper, C, C++, Python, Haskell, Elixir, Clojure, Java and Ruby. He has trained over 5000 software engineers, designed more than 25 courses, and conducted ‘Train the Trainer’ programs for more than 300 trainers, and nearly 100 instructional designers and developers.
  • Sphoorthy
    Program Director

    Sphoorthy is an experienced professional who is leading the DEI programs supported by Google at TalentSprint. She is responsible for driving the success of these initiatives and ensuring they are effectively implemented to achieve their goals.

    With over 12 years of experience in program and project management, Sphoorthy's expertise lies in client servicing, stakeholder engagement, and account management.

    In addition to her industry expertise, Sphoorthy is deeply passionate about DEI and brings this enthusiasm to her role. She is also an accomplished student mentor, demonstrating her commitment to helping others grow and succeed. Her mentoring experience indicates that she has strong communication skills and a talent for developing people.

    She holds a Master's Degree in Business Management and currently drives the success of the DEI programs at TalentSprint, leveraging her skills, expertise, and passion for creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
  • Anshul Yadav
    Instructor, DSA

    Anshul Yadav is a Computer Science and Engineering graduate from IIT-Kanpur. He further pursued Advanced Program in AI and ML from IIIT-Hyderabad. Anshul has a passion for solving algorithmic problems and puzzles. He enjoys managing Machine Learning projects that have real-world impact. He has a keen interest in both teaching and building software.
  • Kunisha Reddy
    Instructor, Corporate Skills

    Kunisha is a specialist in the field of Business Communication and Soft Skills Training. She has been the WE Program's primary trainer for Corporate Skills since Cohort 3. She believes in effective, efficient communication and women standing up for women.
  • Sai Krishna
    Instructor

    An avid learner with 5+ years of experience in the Educational Technology and training industry with exposure to startup culture and national organizations. Currently, a Consultant-Delivery at NSE TalentSprint, Sai Krishna is passionate about mentoring students.
  • Anasuya Sahoo
    Instructor

    An experienced developer proficient in Python and Java, specializing in data structures and algorithms, Ansauya's functional and logical knowledge is exemplary, and she thoroughly enjoys coding and building projects. She has been awarded 3 Gold Medals in M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering from GIET University, MSc Computer Science from Ravenshaw University, and BSc, Computer Science Honors at the same institution.

    Anasuya holds NPTEL certifications in various areas, including Programming in Python, Data Structures and Algorithms using Python, and Data Science using Python, and possesses a diverse range of programming skills, including C, C++, Java, Python, R-Programming, and Haskell. Proficiency in version control using Git and LaTex. She also had the honor of publishing papers at renowned conferences, including the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Signal Processing (AISP)-IEEE, the International Conference on Intelligent Technologies (CONIT)-IEEE and Intelligent Systems: Proceedings of ICMIB 2021, Springer Nature Singapore. Her research work focuses on frequent pattern mining algorithms, load-matrix-based approaches, and parallelization techniques.

    Director, Delivery

    Indira leads the training team of Fresh Engineering Graduates to make them industry-ready. She is an expert in handling Java, Python, and Machine learning concepts. Her 13+ years of experience in the IT and Edtech industry not only make her an SME with answers to most questions, but also an approachable, reliable, and seasoned mentor to thousands of students.
