About the Program

We believe that diversity is vital to innovation, creativity, and problem-solving. However, in the last few decades, the industry has witnessed a decline in the number of women in the software domain. To address this gender disparity in the tech industry, TalentSprint, and Google, rolled out an experiential program to nurture promising women students to rapidly advance their expertise for the evolving tech industry.

This 2-year program will enable selected women students to build globally competitive skills. All selected participants are awarded fee scholarships ranging from 25% to 100% based on their merit, performance in the assessments, and socio-economic background.

WE is a unique program designed to identify capable women engineering students, train them to be globally competitive, and, in the process, address the diversity challenge faced by the Tech industry. To ensure socio-economic diversity and inclusion, scholarships are provided on merit-cum-means basis. The program will also enable the participants to gain exposure to professional tools, processes, and approaches. The representation of women engineers in the technology sector stands at just 26% globally (Excerpts: Bureau of Labor Statistics). Hence, WE aims to nurture and mentor talented women engineering students to address gender disparity in tech and support inclusion across socio-economic strata.

WE is an intensive 2-year program delivered by top-notch faculty with a completely hands-on approach. The program will enable participants to think differently, learn to learn, build a strong portfolio of projects through hackathons, coding challenges and more.

Selection Process

All women students

  1. In first year of Engineering and
  2. Pursuing CS/IT/ECE/EEE or equivalent studies

You can visit and apply for the program. Fill the details in the application form (It will take 5 minutes) and submit. Applicants who fulfil the criteria will be invited for the Assessment tests.

The applications will be open till Mar 21, 2021.

The Selection Committee will review your application , with focus on

  • Eligibility criteria
  • Academic credentials
  • Socio-economic background

The decision of the selection committee is final.

All women students currently in the first year of engineering are eligible for the program.

Degrees: B.E, B.Tech

Streams: IT, CS, EEE, ECE, or equivalent

Grade: Over 70% in both X and XII

To qualify for the program, you must first submit your application. In case your application is approved by the Selection Committee, you will have to attend the Selection Procedure that includes:

  • Assessments(online): You will be tested for Aptitude, English Language, and Technical skills.
  • Selection and Scholarship: 500 participants will be selected based on Performance in the Assessments, Socio-economic background and Merit in the academics
  • Enrollment: You must enrol within 3 days of Selection

Online Assessments include

  1. Analytical and Quantitative reasoning test - 60 minutes
  2. English Language test - 55 minutes
  3. Technical test (After 2 weeks of assisted & self-learning) - 60 minutes

The Assessment Tests can be taken from the comfort of your home.

  1. You need to have a Computer / Laptop with a Camera, Mic, 2 MBPS internet connection, and the necessary Power Backup.
  2. It will be a Proctored Test, and the software will be able to track aspects like who is at the computer or if any other browser is opened.

You need to carry any of your identity cards to start your test.

A sample paper will be shared with those applicants who are invited for the Selection Test Stages along with test schedule and details.

For the Stage 3 selection, which tests your learning ability for programming, you will get access to self learning content. In addition to that material, you will have doubt clearing sessions with our faculty members to assist in your learning.

There is no specific prerequisite programming language required for joining WE.

However, the applicants would require the following skills to ace the selection process.

Analytical and logical reasoning, problem-solving skills

English language skills

Programming skills (After 2 weeks of self-learning and assisted learning with our faculty).

Once you have successfully cleared all the stages of the selection process, you will receive the final selection status on your registered email address.

There are limited seats for the program. Once you are informed about your Final Selection, you need to enrol within 3 days with the required documents and confirm your enrollment for the program. In case you do not act /enrol on time, your seat may be released to other applicants.

Program Fee

The total fee for the program is Rs. 3,00,000. Selected participants will be granted scholarships from 25% to 100%. The scholarship will be based on performance in the assessment process and socio-economic background.

Yes, flexible Zero% EMI options can be availed to pay the program fee in instalments.

Yes. Zero% 18 Months EMI options can be availed to pay the program fee in instalments.

Yes, participants can avail scholarship based on their performance in Assessment Tests and Financial Background. Getting selected ensures a minimum ₹75,000 Scholarship.

No. The program fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

A late fee is applicable for a delay in payment of fee:

Delay of up to 5 days - ₹3,000

Delay of 5-10 days - ₹5,000

Delay beyond 10 days would lead to cancellation of enrollment and the fee paid will be forfeited.

WE does not provide Internships. Successful students will have the opportunity to apply for internships and jobs at high-end product companies, including Google.
